BlackStock
2026AI-generated stock imagery featuring Black people, right inside Figma.
While designing a service provider app, I struggled to find stock images that represented Black people in everyday professional settings. Rather than keep working around the problem, I decided to explore a solution of my own.
BlackStock is a Figma plugin I built with generative AI to help designers create more representative imagery for their designs. What started as a personal frustration became a tool I could share with other designers. I'm continuing to explore how to grow its image collection and make inclusive imagery easier to access.

FinCore UI Kit
2026An open, customisable fintech design system uniting designers and developers on the same foundation—with an AI context layer that understands financial rules.
Fintech products either reinvent the basics every time or get locked into rigid, generic UI libraries. Teams struggle with fragmented states, broken handoffs between Figma and code, and AI coding assistants generating arbitrary buttons, wrong destructive actions, or inaccessible contrast that ignore financial safety.
FinCore defines the rules; designers and developers decide how to apply them; AI helps them work with those rules. Combining the flexibility and source-ownership model of shadcn/ui with the comprehensive guidance of Material Design, FinCore establishes fintech-specific rules so any team can build banking dashboards, payment flows, or wealth products without looking identical or starting from scratch.

X Trends
2023An early exploration into making trending conversations easier to understand.
In 2023, I explored an idea around helping people discover what was trending on X and understand the conversations behind popular topics. Trending feeds presented raw, uncontextualized lists of hashtags that gave users little insight into why a topic was popular.
I designed and prototyped X Trends as an independent concept, exploring how trends could become more useful than a list of popular topics. Looking back, it's an interesting snapshot of how I was thinking about discovery, information, and AI-adjacent product experiences before today's integrated AI features became common on the platform. This was an independent concept, not an official X product or feature.
